What They Make

Heatstrip makes slim electric radiant heaters for covered patios, plus two gas models. The brand gives its head office as Melbourne, Australia, and says it has been engineering products since 1988. Earthcore Industries has been the sole North American distributor since February 2026.

The electric range runs on 240 V. The Classic is a wall or ceiling strip at 2,400 or 3,200 W in black or white, rated IP55, with or without remote and app control. Intense comes at 2,200 and 3,200 W and Enhance at 2,400 and 3,200 W, both with remote and app control. Max DC Commercial is hard-wired at 4,000 W on a 20 A supply or 6,000 W on a 32 A supply. Both gas models list 32,225 BTU/hr: a natural gas wall-mounted heater and a portable propane heater that takes a 20 lb cylinder.

Heatstrip's site describes the range as designed and engineered in Australia. The Classic US manual lists China as the country of manufacture, so this page doesn't call it made in Australia.

How to Tell Their Pieces Apart

Wattage and controls separate the models. The strips run 2,200 to 3,200 W on 240 V, and Max DC Commercial steps up to 4,000 and 6,000 W for commercial spaces. The Classic comes with or without remote and app control, and Intense and Enhance are both listed with it.

Construction differs by fuel. The Classic is ceramic-coated extruded alloy with an IP55 rating. The gas heads are 420 stainless, and the portable model's stand is powder-coated mild steel. The Classic and Enhance manuals list ETL approval, and the gas manuals reference a CSA label.

Get the mounting height from the manual. The Classic manual recommends 2.3 to 2.5 m, and the installation manual and your local inspector govern clearances for every model.

Who It Suits, and Who It Doesn't

In our view, Heatstrip fits a covered patio or pergola with a 240 V circuit available, where you want a slim, quiet electric heater.

We wouldn't put it in an open, uncovered yard on a windy night, and it isn't a fire feature.

The North American distributor changed in February 2026, so warranty and parts questions go through the US contact on heatstrip.com. The warranty is three years residential and two years commercial on the Classic, Intense, Enhance and gas models, and three years for both on the Max DC Commercial.
