What They Make
Bromic Heating makes infrared patio heaters in gas and electric. Its US office is in Irvine, California, and it belongs to Bromic Group, which is headquartered in Sydney, Australia.
Tungsten Smart-Heat is the broadest line: wall or ceiling gas heaters at 26,000 and 43,000 BTU, a freestanding gas model at 38,500 BTU, and electric versions from 2,000 to 6,000 W. Platinum Smart-Heat is the enclosed, low-profile line, with gas at 23,600 and 39,800 BTU, electric at 2,300 to 4,500 W, and a marine electric version in 316 stainless. Eclipse Smart-Heat Electric is a 2,900 W pendant heater with a dimmable LED ring, and Bromic also lists an Eclipse freestanding model. Cobalt Smart-Heat Electric is a 4,000 and 6,000 W quartz heater for walls or ceilings.
Affinity controls handle on/off, dimming and an app. The pages we read state no country of manufacture, so this page doesn't print one.

How to Tell Their Pieces Apart
Tungsten has the industrial look, with a honeycomb face. It also has the highest output in each fuel and the only freestanding gas model. Platinum puts an enclosed body behind ceramic glass and is built for low clearances and flush mounting. Eclipse combines a heater and an LED light in one pendant, with dimming and three heat settings. Marine uses 316 stainless in place of 304 for salt air.
The fuel decides the install. Gas models need ventilation. Electric models produce no combustion byproducts, but they run at 208 to 277 V on a dedicated circuit, and a 6,000 W Cobalt draws 25 A at 240 V. Take mounting height and clearances from Bromic's installation manual and your local inspector.
Bromic's product pages cite Intertek listings for the Tungsten, Platinum and Cobalt lines and an SGS listing for Eclipse. Check the listing on the exact model before you assume an inspector will accept it.
Who It Suits, and Who It Doesn't
In our view, Bromic fits a defined seating zone under a cover, such as a covered patio, pergola or terrace, where you want the heater to look like part of the architecture. Built-in wall and ceiling mounts make up most of the line, which is why we read it that way.
A Bromic heater isn't a fire feature. There's no flame to sit around, so if that's what you want, look at a fire table.
Electric models need a circuit sized for the load, and that's a job for an electrician. Warranty terms vary by line: two years on the Tungsten and Platinum gas heaters, excluding hoses and igniters, three on Platinum Electric, and one on the Tungsten Freestanding. They cover the original owner and a replacement heater or part, and they exclude labor and shipping.
